Welcome to Mrs. Drain's 4th Grade Class!

Hello, my name is Mrs. Drain and I am excited to be your child’s 4^th grade teacher. This is my eighth year of teaching and my fourth year at University Preparatory. I taught two years as a fourth grade teacher in Georgia and two years in Eastpointe, MI where I taught a fourth/fifth grade loop.   

I have earned a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Eastern Michigan University and a bachelor’s degree from Western Michigan University in Elementary Education, thus making me a highly qualified teacher.  In my free time I love to read, shop, fish, ski, and be surrounded by those I love.  This will be a year of learning, growing, and exploring new things for all of us.  So let’s get ready for a wonderful school year together.
